[ Questions ]
FAQ:
How do I get Hank for my home?
It comes with a Hank inspection. Your inspector delivers the report, you claim your home, and the full platform is free for 3 months from that claim. Bringing in an inspection you already have is coming, not available yet.
What is free, and what costs $20?
Your record is free forever (systems and appliances, issue tracking, storage, reminders). The AI layer is the paid part, free for your first 3 months (asking your home questions, turning an observation into a scope, matching contractors, comparing quotes). After that $20 a month, monthly only. If you never subscribe, your record stays.
Does Hank set the price for my repairs?
No. Hank never prices your repairs. Every amount you see is a bid a contractor wrote or a retailer's listed price, side by side, with the author named.
Does Hank do things behind my back?
No. Hank watches what is aging and drafts the next step, but nothing happens until you say so. A fully hands-off home is where we are headed; today the last word is always yours.
Who can see my home's data?
Nobody, unless you share it. You can share with a contractor or your agent for exactly as long as you choose, and end that access any time.
What happens to my record when I sell?
The property's record can hand off to the next owner with the house, while your personal information stays with you.
[ Asked by everyone ]
What is Hank, exactly?
Hank turns a home inspection into structured, queryable data instead of a PDF. One record, authored by a licensed inspector, that the homeowner owns and everyone else plugs into with permission.
Who owns the data?
The homeowner. Every other party's access is granted by them, scoped to what they shared, and revocable at any time. Hank does not sell records, and there is no lead capture or directory.
Does the AI decide anything?
No. Every decision belongs to a person. An AI-proposed card carries a "Hank drafted" tag until a human signs it off, and that human is the actor of record.
